Seaside reflections

This Klaipeda apartment, designed for rental, was created so that every detail would evoke the tranquillity of the seaside, the sound of the waves, and the relaxing atmosphere of the dunes. The client’s request was to design an interior that reflects a sense of rest and lightness, which led to an aesthetic inspired by natural motifs.

The kitchen cabinets feature stone-patterned hanging fronts and subtly striped grey panels reminiscent of sand dune textures. This material continues on the living room sideboard, ensuring a sense of cohesion throughout. The colour palette is carefully composed of elements found by the sea: warm sand, grey stones, dry reeds, and the refreshing greenery leading toward the shore. The calm tones are enlivened by a vibrant mustard-coloured sofa and a painting depicting ripples of water against an urban backdrop – accents that add energy, distinction, and subtle modernity to the space.

In the bedroom, the atmosphere is enhanced by a photo wallpaper and mirrors that reflect reed motifs, creating the impression of sitting among the dunes, gazing at the calm sea, and feeling the gentle coastal breeze. Natural textures, soothing tones, and thoughtfully selected details ensure harmony. At the same time, the overall mood invites you to pause, take a deep breath, and enjoy a moment of seaside relaxation – even in the heart of the city.
