Exhibition Moments: Design that Inspires
You know what they say: when you’re in the design world, you always want to see, feel and share! But we just… We just don’t manage to get everything into our networks. When we’re not working on interiors, we’re travelling to exhibitions and meetings and looking for inspiration. And now that Christmas is over and the New Year is just around the corner, we’d like to share some moments from the exhibitions and meetings in November and December.
Veneks Boutique Event in Klaipeda
At the beginning of November, we had the opportunity to attend an event organised by “Veneks Boutique“ in Klaipeda. This event brought together several outstanding interior design companies to present their latest news and trends.
The founder of “Veneks Boutique“ not only introduced the ranges offered by the manufacturers but also revealed his visions for the future, where even more soft furniture and chairs will be offered. We felt how every detail could inspire even more stylish interiors.
“Viskas plytelėms“ presented profiles for tiling and discussed the use of extruded polystyrene, which helps shape complex bathroom surfaces. Also presented was an innovation in the form of hidden staircases in the floor and wall niches, which give the space a minimalist and aesthetic feel.
The “Celements“ team shared ideas about decor possibilities and presented colour ranges and textures that inspired us to create new design solutions. Decor combinations are still in our minds, sparking our creativity.
Linea and FLORIM CERAMICHE Tile News
We then headed to the “Linea” showroom, where tile manufacturer “FLORIM CERAMICHE” presented this year’s trend – tiles that, when joined together, create seamless walls. The result? A perfect minimalist beauty, perfect for bathrooms, common areas, or even furniture. Italian design experts’ insights on the subtleties of combining textures and colours inspired us to look for new and bolder solutions for interiors.
Exhibition of Original Works by Rolandas Repšys
And what can you do without art? The Rolandas Repšys exhibition was like a wave of inspiration. In his hands, building wall coverings turned into works of art that told distinctive, carefully polished stories. Watching these works, we could feel how craftsmanship and creative imagination intertwined uniquely. We wish Roland never to run out of inspiration and to continue to create works that enrich our world.
Christmas Trip to PAA Baths Factory in Riga
December saw the start of a real Christmas story. “Sveameks” organised a trip to Riga to visit the “PAA Baths” factory. We saw how baths are being made, watched the moulding process, and learned about the latest technologies and prototypes in the creative process. This tour was followed by a product presentation, where we could see the products and their intricacies in detail.
Afterwards, we headed to the “PAA Baths” showroom in the centre of Riga, where we were treated to a significant and engaging event with the participation of Latvian designers. The evening was exciting: exhibitions, handmade products and interaction with colleagues and designers. It was a celebration of design and an excellent opportunity to get new ideas and inspiration.
This was our marathon end-of-year event, full of unforgettable encounters and discoveries. We hope 2025 will bring even more incredible experiences and that ideas and design solutions will only increase!
We wish you all a cosy, stylish and joyful New Year!
